Developed in collaboration with subject matter experts in medical simulation instruction, this lab is designed to teach medical students the standard approach to facilitate surgical exposure for thoracic surgeries. The virtual reality operating room provides a controlled environment to gain hands-on practice and build confidence without the risks involved with real-world scenarios. Learning objectives & key features: • Practicing isolating and ventilating one lung for surgical procedures • Execute Double Lumen Tube placement technique • Implement selective clamping • Unlimited repetitive practice • Obtain real-time feedback
