Dr. Raj Reddy is a Moza Bint Nasser University professor of computer science and robotics in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Reddy is the chairman of the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. He is the first person of Asian origin to receive the Turing Award for his pioneering work in artificial intelligence and robotics.
Dr. Reddy is the founding director of the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition, he is the co-founder of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).
Dr. Reddy’s constant interaction with the HoloPundits team helps us to gain valuable insight on augmented reality and AI. Mr. Singh has more than 25 years of technical, operations, international business, and management experience in public and private corporations. He has worked in senior management roles in organizations that span from undercapitalized start-ups to Fortune 100 multinational corporations. His background includes hands-on industry experience in software development, product development, online e-commerce & web services, intellectual property, innovation sourcing, concept design, video gaming, medical devices, and brand development.
Mr. Singh is currently the CEO of the Taal Innovation Advisors Inc. (“Taal”), a boutique business consulting, innovation advisory investment firm. Mr. Singh, served as the President of Intellectual Ventures Canada - a $650M private equity fund that invested in early-stage disruptive technologies. He also served as Managing Director of the Microsoft Canada Development Centre; the General Manager for Microsoft’s Home & Entertainment Division for Japan and the head of the Business Development group responsible for the global launch of Xbox and Xbox 360.
Mr. Edens is on the faculty of the Thunderbird School of Global Management faculty, and has an extensive background as a researcher, entrepreneur, corporate strategist & venture capital as well as consultant in telecommunications, entertainment, and information technology.
Mr. Edens previously directed research and development as SVP and director of Sun Microsystems Laboratories and Communications, Media, and Entertainment business unit (now part of Oracle Corporation).
Mr. Edens served as VP and Chief of Technology Strategy for Hewlett-Packard, and President of Strategic Ventures for AT&T Laboratories. He worked for Paul Allen’s Interval Research Corporation and was Chief Analyst for Vulcan Ventures. He has held positions at NBI, Apple Computer, National Semiconductor and Xerox Corporation’s famed Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).
Mr. Edens is inventor of the laptop computer co-founding GRiD Systems as well as WaveFrame, Range Networks and four other VC-funded startups.
Mr. Konduru is the Director of Executive Education for the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
During his career, Mr. Konduru has held several managerial and leadership positions at Pfizer Inc., McKinsey & Company, Diamond Management & Technology Consultants and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Konduru possess a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, software development and program management. In addition, he has a vast amount of experience working with start-ups having served as the COO at Mobile Aspects and the President of HSCC.
Mr. Konduru has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras, India.
