Then, participants engage in a sort-and-match activity to reinforce their understanding of each step in the process. Embedded learning outcomes based on Bloom’s revised taxonomy include remembering, understanding, and applying.
Participant Simulation:
The LOTO training simulation is an interactive experience designed to encourage active participation while learning the procedure. Participants explore a factory setting and put what they have learned into practice by locking out and tagging out several control panels connected to manufacturing machinery. Based on OSHA safety guidelines, the simulation provides a risk-free environment for participants to understand and practice the steps involved in the LOTO process.
